Verse is nice, when you can get it,
when you can't, no need to sweat it. Just say the words you have to say and leave the verse to yesterday. For yesterday, 'twas understood, the verse would come, as then, it should. For verse was then a means to say the things we all said, yesterday. Don't worry if you speak in verse from yesterday. Or even worse- If yesterday you spoke as now! (Who'd be the worse off anyhow!) So just say what you have to say- I'll try to understand today. And should your point be vague and strange, I'll hazard it's tomorrows' change!
