mesmerized, today they watch a modern angel
debate daily life’s destiny with a demon like the beautiful leaves of poison ivy the audience fears the sting of green-leaved ivy for defenceless is this most innocent angel they applaud, nonetheless, the aggressive demon he will lose, as always, this outlandish demon finally sheared by the welts of his own ivy though none will ever see the grace of an angel they weep… ivy leaves oppose angel and demon modern television reality [2007.21.10…b] Written in the Tritina form for the Writer’s Cramp
