The Clocks (in Lanturne)
Clocks restless with untold time cry soft in grief. In Wind In wind the trees grieve In soft reprieve Against the sky's soft skin Where days begin And dreams will leave. The leaf's dances deceive, A small payment they will conceive, Transparent as sin. In wind. Surrounding breath so strong to receive, Leaf’s running in it’s eve. Finding shelter in a familiar den, Huddled in with their kin With nothing to retrieve In wind. Femme (Tyburn) Costumed Perfumed Resumed Consumed Women costumed, skin perfumed with flower. Nights resumed, men consumed through power. Dreams (Senryu) Sabotaged dreams die In places no eye sees, now We sigh silently.
