Never forgotten
Deceased friend

I think of you everyday
Yet the thought of you never strays,
Time passes when I’m on the beat
So by thinking of you, it’s like a treat!

Living your life on the edge, that was your pledge!
I miss those times of peeing in the hedge
Always laughing and making jokes
Pointing out the deformed bloke
You always said you could quite the smoke
With Marlborough’s hanging out your coat

Loyal to the end you never forgot your friends,
Always there for occasions never missed the celebrations,
Fighting with bouncers just to make that appearance
Breaking through fire escapes with little interference

I never had a chance to say goodbye
But I know you’re up there in the sky,
Looking down on us below
Laughing at us when we’re low… never a frown always a glow!
