I hope you take a walk there and that you bring your girl there like we used to walk the pathway and stumble though the back way I hope you see my ghost there lying in the grass there sleeping next to you, dear when you wanted me near and I hope you see a stain, there on your palm, below your fingers, where it slid across my cheekbone to bring my lips to your own then you’ll gaze into her eyes there and wish that it was me there with my arms around your waistband, my hair below your right hand
