Time Will Make It Happen ... (A Monchielle Poem)
Time will make it happen. The couple joins as one. The bride’s face all aglow, The groom is bold and proud. Within, their love will grow. Time will make it happen. A baby boy is born. He learns to walk and run. He grows and goes to school. His own life has begun. Time will make it happen. The boy becomes a man. He steps out on his own. Working, thinking, searching, Existing all alone. Time will make it happen. He’s with a lovely girl. Afraid to ask before, “Please, will you marry me?” The cycle starts once more. ********************************************* Monchielle The Monchielle is a poem that consists of four five-line stanzas, where the first line is repeated in each stanza. Each line within the stanzas consists of six syllables. Lines three and five must rhyme. The rhyme pattern is Abcdc Aefgf Ahiji Aklml.
