I MELT
My first attempt at a Garland Cinquain. It seems alien to me so forgive the poor effort.

I stop
When She calls me
With a dove's mating cry
I can't resist
She's here

Longing
To see her face
Its eyes of emerald gems
Without its glow
Breathless

We met
Her beacon called
Shining within the crowd
Could not resist
Answered

That day
Life's course altered
I found my new fate there
A smile for me
I'm hers

Her gaze
Burns through my heart
Sunlight on an ant hill
It comes my way
I melt

I stop
To see her face
Shining within the crowd
A smile for me
I melt
