Shadows in My Heart
As the shadows stretch to night, n And day gives way to pale moonlight, My day runs through my head again, Where on earth, could I have been? For deep within my heart I see, a plethora of golden dreams. Some quite tarnished, some still gleam, What on earth does all this mean? Reflecting on passed days, so sweet, where can we go, when will we meet. That special heart, life should grant, the peace, the love, two hearts at last. Keep faith my friend, in love so true. Please share your soul with mine. And as days go, they ebb and flow Now and forever, through all time. Alone for now, I know somehow, someone, will come along. A loving soul, who sings my song, and lifts the shadows in my heart. Doug Mcconnell
