Persian: Bahar aamad o sabza nou shud ba jooha Uroosan e bustan kushadand rooha Urdu: Bahar aaie, hay sabza tar ba jooha Uroosan e chaman kay daekh rooha English:=== The spring has come and green are the dales And the garden's brides have dropped their veils - Persian: Gul e kuza bar shakh meegoyad inak Keh kuza zay ma, wa zay mustan sabooha Urdu; Kahay yeh shakh per hay kuza e gul Keh day mastoun ko may ander sabooha English:=== With goblets in hand the tulips do wait To get their share from the wine pails - Persian: Na gooyad zay azadgi heetch sosan Chun bulbul zay masti kunad guftogooha Urdu: Haya say hay khamosh azad sosan Karay masti say bulbul guftogooha English:=== The flowers are blooming with buds in their wake But the poor little blue bird, he only wails - Persian: Az in pus piyala ba kuff khubrooyan Kharaminda beeni ba labha e jooha Urdu: Liay saghar ba kuff haen khubrooyan Kharaman naaz say kaisay ba jooha English:=== Walking near water are beauties in gowns On the arms of men dressed up in tails - Persian; Ba her shakh ghuncha, dahan baaz karda Zay khuban faro meekhurad aarzooha Karay haen daekh ker andaaz e khuban Chaman maen aandaleeban aarzooha English:=== The tulips and roses are impudent and saucy Laughing at lovers are the nightingales - Persian: Muattar az an meekunad gul chamanha Kash az nazm e KHUSRO zakheerast booha Urdu: Muattar hay gul o lala say gulshan Keh un maen nazm e KHUSRO ki haen booha English:=== And the flowers hearing the verses of KHUSRO Are spreading their scent in meadow and vales ====
