I got lost somewhere between myself and you.
Somewhere between the sands
we did our dancing on, and
the coldness of your hands,
I got lost.
I didn’t have to hold on
anymore.
I left my heart at home, and hoped
it would wait for me.
I got lost along the way
and let it happen.

I got lost somewhere between myself and you,
where I let go and you held on.
Dawn at the tips of my toes, and
we don’t have to run anymore,
I will let be, as it is; it is.
And somewhere along the way I got lost,
I fell for you, and everything,
and everything.
