Beauty Rises from Monochrome Skies

Lost in a concrete paradise.
Seek and you shall find,
Beauty in a land of hate and vice.
Through the cracks weathered and rotted by time,
A single flower grows.
Colors soft and light, breaks the steel,
For those that have persevered this is owed
Our tainted world, lost in destruction
A few held on, their palette still bright.
Most sunk in despair, only rising with the construction.
Under monochrome sky, our world perpetually lost in night
Wolves devoured the sheep where they lay,
But hope sprouts a new season
Small flecks of gold pierce the increasingly darkening gray.
Those that held on, no longer accused of treason.
With reliance a flower grows and the honest are the reason.
