Cruel Light In the early morning darkness I wake up from the night, then stumble to the bathroom and the cruelness of its light. It shines upon my tired face, the truth is staring back, showing every wrinkled line; where time has left her track. Sometimes I think it's so unfair that life just races by, I wish I could go round' again and give it one more try. There never was a guarantee that I had ever heard, written down in any textbook or whispered on a word. All you get is what you have, you better get it right; it's you my friend that's staring back in the cruelness of the light.
