No more making exceptions, open up all these closed doors
Lets fight and get it out, make love and ask for more
I need to be in you arms, you need to feel me too

Don’t whisper words of comfort but don’t tell me we’re through
I’ve never seen that look of hurt that crossed you face this night
I’ve never felt such utter pain, even when it wasn’t right

The powerful current of emotions that course throughout my veins
Will not be denied, and no longer detained
We hide our true passion, we hide the love we feel

All because of what? We’ve been hurt and had to deal?
Look me in the eye, see the man I see
Let loose of your nightmares, embrace this entity

Let our minds intertwine, our bodies melt as one
Make me yours, show me what you want
And if you come to see that you want more out of life

I’ll accept your offer and take up the role of your wife
We’ll make the best of it, live like we’re in our dying days
This is the moment when time beings to stand still
This is where I make you feel the same way

I get caught up in your brooding
You’re engulfed by my spirit

Let me ignite under your hands, I want all of you in the end
You posses my very heart which can easily break
And I’m afraid to say I really love you for fear you’ll leave me one day

No one is right, but we can both win
All you have to do is love me
And finally allow life to begin
