a poem of suicide

All hope was lost
along with her will to survive.
She felt no need to care
and no need to stay alive.
Every reason she had
to awaken each day.
No longer existed,
so on earth she chose no longer to stay.
her future she feared
more than death itself.
so she wrote a short note,
which she left apon the kitchen shelf.
She walked to her room
with a smiling face.
It would all soon be over,
she'll leave this world with grace.
With a blade in her hand
she sat apon her bed.
She slowly slit her wrist
and laughed as it bled.
Now her breath is getting heavy.
Yet she completly feels no fear.
This is exactly what she wanted,
and she knows the end is near.
In this very moment,
she feels no regret for what shes done.
The tretcherous game of life has ended,
and she feels as if shes won.
