Hope
A poem about hope and how it entwines with depression.

I'm free
Dancing through my life
Yet trapped by the dark mood of depression
Which surrounds me
Imprisoned in a bed of glass
Each movement could be my last
Lying awake in darkness
Almost screaming for the innocence I lost
So long ago
It's then that you appear
A shining  vision of hope
Reaching out a golden hand for me
My fluttering butterfly tears dye the atmosphere
Find fragments of my scattered heart
Are you the one to mend it?
A radiance that surpasses hope.
