Tree of Sorrow
Poem entitled, "Tree of Sorrow"

Avg Rating: (3)
I beheld this godforsaken emergence,
watered carefully with tears
diligently every day and every night.
Sighted within my heart,
the silhouette of your being.
I lay down to sleep
finding you have invaded
my thoughts and dreams once again.
Filling a vase with tears and sorrow,
I ready to water my tree
with despair tomorrow.
This tree grows tall,
reaching out to the heavens above
in my private garden
though all can see
the sadness growing within me.
Enshackled, I silently keep watch.
