I went walking...
Just another poem :)

I went walking one day
Amongst the tall green grass.
My mind it just drifted off
Ive never walked so fast.

As I walked along a glistening river
a gentle breeze made me shiver
A bird hopped out in front of me
Oh how wonderful it is to be free.

I saw before me a field of flowers
There scent overwhelmed me like a magic power
The golden colours gleamed in the light
A squirrel jumped past me giving me a fright.

Then the dream disappeared
All I saw was what i feared.
I was surrounded by shadows of my past
I couldn't move as i was hit by their blast.

The blast it knocked me off my feet
I tried my best but i couldn't speak
The shadows blacken and close in
My will to survive is now very thin.

I went walking one day
Amongst the tall green grass.
My mind it drifted off so fast,
Until it was stopped by the shadows of my past...
