Nerves began to creep in
You heard those awful words
You think your life is over
But let your mind be free,
like a flock of birds.

So next time your dreading
Of something you cant help
Sit back and just relax about it
and deal with the hand you've been dealt.

People may laugh and taunt you
But carry on just the same.
Ignore them and keep going on
And forget about the pain.

You feel down and alone,
You feel hurt down to your bone
Pick yourself up you know people need you
Just stand up and struggle through.

The day has passed
It went by so fast
You realise now
There was nothing to fear
Reality strikes you
and your vision is clear.
