Have i told you
My journey through much
My heart felt blue
cause i longed a faery touch

I longed a faery touch
I begged a widdow
Has she but known so much
I'd be a mere shadow

I longed a faery touch
I spoke to a begger
He glanced up
And asked for a quater

I longed a faery touch
I prayed to a priest
For he never believed in such
And he did not look pleased

I longed a faery touch
I confronted a witch
The spell she cast with bugs
Caught her in spiderwebs

I longed a faery touch
I went to a friend
She smiled on the aproach
But never gave advice that came in hand

I longed a faery touch
I bugged a warlock
He was too much of a grouch
To help me out with this prob

I longed a faery touch
I asked a child
He did not understand much
He just smiled

I longed a faery touch
I asked King Arthur
I went to Old Mc Stout
and even tried my older brother

I even found ol Einstein
and Robin Hood and Gulliver
They just could not understand why
I even tried Oliver

None of them could help me out
No one ever replied
Were they scared or just in doubt
Why or were the faeries hide

Under the Autum leaves they are
In the flakes of the wintersnow
Summer they never drift too far
In spring in the morning dew that makes the flowers grow

I longed a faery touch
I sat by myself and wondered
Feeling the water on my toes
Smelling a flower
Listening to the huge trees silent echoes
Tasting a dewdrop on a clover
Watching a leaf, gently tumbling down onto my nose

a breath...

a sneeze...

...

Opening my eyes
Feeling alive
Sensing so much...

I have felt a faery touch!
