You pour your pain
out on me. Vile, clinging self-pity oozing through the room. Green, raging jealousy born of past loves broken. Words that batter and bruise Even as their venom is denied. Then, your pain transferred to me, You sleep clean, calm Your demons quiet for a time And i weep quietly as they gnaw on my soul.
