THE WAYS OF THE HEART
Oh, how the touch of love each day Makes dark memories rust away! How, as a tear falls down the eye, True relief to heart does come by! How words and feelings are conveyed, Though lips have not a sound betrayed! How nature triggers the message And rush of love comes with the age! How the newborn instinctively Does suck at the breast so freely! The ways of heart and intuition Come on their own, without tution. How and why and when, how strongly Heart acts is a matter godly. • Written as a-a, 8-8 couplets. M C Gupta 8 November 2007
