WHAT DREAMS REMAIN
What dreams remain when all dreams are Shattered beyond respite, When one finally surrenders, Giving up a long fight? It’s said that hope springs eternal Inside the human breast. But how can dreams remain when hope Itself is put to test? I don’t now have a hope or dream, Yet, have a conviction: That dreams or no dreams, I’ll have His Grace and benediction. • Written in abcb, 8-6-8-6 format. * Written for “ Kansaspoet Contest” contest, "Invalid Item" M C Gupta 8 November 2007
