DIWALI

My dear friend, to you and all,
As Diwali does enthrall,
I send Diwali greetings
Along with my queer musings.

Every year this we do know,
Diwali does come and go
Only for those that are rich,
Rather only with this glitch:

Millions in Ram’s land do yet,
On Diwali wail and fret
For a morsel while the rich
Squander wealth without a hitch.
