for her ripened, reddened fruits
that we got to see.
Ripened and reddened,
they sat at Lisa Leonard's
deli, beckoning.
Lisa Leonard's place
was where lovers lingered and
saddened souls were saved.
Rory's fruits were seen
as an emotional e-
lixir for lost souls.

in her desperate dying days
for her reddened fruit.
