WHY I LIVE?
Why I live, for whom I live, Why should I live at all? If one day I stop living, The heavens would not fall. In that case why this delay? Let that day be today. I have no desire to earn, Nor have a loan to pay. Those for whom I lived and toiled Do not have any time For someone who has outlived His life out of his prime. My children, live happily I won’t bother you now. I would either end this life, Or live alone somehow. • Written in abcb, 7-6-7-6 format. M C Gupta 18 November 2007
