I.
At first I thought I couldn’t love At first I thought I needn’t love Then as if from above You came to me and fit like a glove All those years I got by alone Only to friends and sports was I known Now I’ve found that you have shown What it means love to own To me it is a place for hope. A place of happiness when I mope A place to rest on the treacherous slope A place of comfort to help me cope But in your love I find more than these In your love I can sail the seas Now I find that you’re the breeze Filling my sails to put me at ease II. In your fields of love I am grazing In your eyes I can’t stop gazing You’re the one, you’re amazing Now my heart’s all ablazing You always seem to bring out the best So your love I wear like a vest To separate me from the rest And protect your place in my chest Just to see you brightens my day It lifts my spirits in every way When I am with you my heart I lay At your feet given away Put simply: All my problems sink in the sea When I find myself with thee Ever after I hope we’ll be Together forever just you and me
