Some Love Letters are Better in Rhyme
A poem to about my loving boyfriend of almost 2 years.

The silent ways he loves me
Speak volumes to my soul
A love to last through all eternity
Fulfillment of things foretold

A gentle kiss, the brush of a hand
Comforting words to dry a tear
Nothing seems too much for that man
It seems he has nothing to fear

I know everything about me is shielded
When left to his protection
My heart he has perfected wielded
He’ll forever be my selection

More than once upon a time
He has saved my life
He has restored my need to rhyme
And I dream of the day I’ll become his wife
