We Go Dancing In the Rain

we go dancing in the rain.
spinning,
twirling,
arms outstretched in glee,
embracing the clouds,
the rain,
and the heavens.
our feet skimming
miniscule lakes.
feel every drop permeate
our clothes,
our skin,
our minds and hearts.
letting it cleanse away the world,
fade away into a puddle.
leaving only you,me,
grey rainmaker, and glistening rain.
