I climb mountains
To reach a single verdant peak. I climb mountains To stand near murmuring fountains. Through test and difficulties, seek A way to reach this sacred peak. I climb mountains. On Mount Carmel Through nineteen terraces, I’ll climb. On Mount Carmel In paradise my soul will dwell Inhaling fragrances divine And intoning prayers sublime. On Mount Carmel.
