GODLY MANIFESTATION: a sonnet
What does one do when hope itself is dead? When all around is darkness, not a ray? When by depression soul of man is led, Friends don’t even recognition betray? When kith and kin and one’s own family Give up on one who is unfortunate? When they even forsake him readily If their own selfishness does so dictate? It’s then divine benevolent support Appears in a manner not expected. There comes from nowhere a ship in the port, To rescue the doomed and the dejected. Have faith in Him and put all doubt to rest. God does in His wondrous ways manifest! * Also features in the book "FAITH, NATURE & INSPIRATIONAL" M C Gupta 5 October 2005
