ALAYAN

Accept my stand
between you and All, I now am,
that arrows loosed will touch nevermore
my chest, now theirs to pierce.

Allow me defend
unleash my fury against that which threatens,
“yes, I am the tip of the sword”
into me look all the more.

Between you and All, I am brace
in shadow mine, lightlessness replaced
in our growing, lightlessness defaced
in glare I dare, more…please try!

Therefore...
if Love, you permit
I will restore the Pollux along your hair
and I submit
I will glitter Castor upon your skin.

If Love, you permit
I will paint the stars upon your toes
and I do submit
I will tune for you, the sea’s lullabies.

Wherefore...
if Love, you permit
I will beg the breeze to rub
and I submit
I will, for you, get jasmine to dance.

If Love, you permit
I will put my life to your lips
and I do submit
sips of me...in forever trips.
