Leaves Covered With Snow
by Doris Ruth Mackey In the woods, so quiet tonight, Winter has created a strange wonderland. The brown leaves that littered the path Are now all covered with clean white snow. In the light of the moon and glittering stars The scene has a magical light. With trees that sparkle like crystal, As a gentle wind swirls shimmering diamonds. Snow now covers those old brown leaves Everything looks so clean and white. And a magical glow fills the woods.
