MA, DON'T CRY

Ma, don't cry for this soldier,
Fighting to hold his tears back,
As he takes leave of you now,
Never to retrace his track.

Ma, I owe myself to you;
You made what I am today.
You taught me in protecting
My country, my duty lay.

Ma, it's time to show you now,
Your lessons were not in vain.
Your son seeks your permission
That he may martyrdom gain.
