HAPPY NEW YEAR WISHES: an acrostic--award winner
Happy New Year wishes are Always sent all around, Praying that all be happy. Perhaps they are too weak. Year after year there persist Never ending problems. Ensconced in His heavens He Willingly endures all. Yet we pray each year that He Elevate our spirits, As in such elevation Resides true happiness. • Written as an acrostic, in 7-6-7-6 format, around the words: HAPPY NEW YEAR. • Awarded Honourable mention prize in the Mystery Prompt Contest, "Invalid Item" M C Gupta 18 December 2007
