My Christmas Ham
Well, all the Christmas songs All the children sweet and kind Some stand on the stage Others to the side with a son of mine I watched the kids on stage Then turned to the side I watched my son smile I just looked at him with pride When eyes were straight ahead He would scamper to my chair He would give me a kiss I know that he will always care I love the others They touched every heart But like all mothers The best just sang his part Now I am writing this I don’t know if you will like it But I do know that a sleeping Child gave me the best gift What is the gift that I love so great Is the goofy wiggle, and sweet smile And acting just for me is a special trait Now he sleeps, then I will dream through out the day So when the turkey is cooked The cakes are cut looking good I can see my son as he looked They way he looked there where he stood
