Writing is like kids trick or treating at Holloween. You never know if someones going to answer the door. If they do you don't know whether they're going to give you anything you want. Finally, if you get too much and loose all sense of discipline, you can make yourself violently sick by eating too much chocholate.
However, you never get a treat, unless you're willing to put footwork to the holiday and see what happens. So I hope you never give up writing I am very bad at listening. Seems like the 'ol mind kicks in gear and I start talking, writing, taking pictures, playing computer games, or [fill in blank]. Good listeners make better writers. I was once diagnosed with ADD. Personally I think it more likely THEY WERE OUT TO GET ME, and I was actually paranoid. Now if only I could spell! Disclaimer: The preceeding infomercial, and excerise in virtual loose association, was brought to you by a well meaning, though sometimes not well informed, soul.
