HE MADE MAN IN HIS IMAGE: a sonnet
We drift mindless along the flow of life, Unsure of what we like or what we need. We often lament world is full of strife. But why? To this we don’t pay any heed. Life is precious and not to be wasted In petty squabble or in self-pursuit. In all its flavors it’s to be tasted. Why should it flow in only one conduit? Never are two men or women alike. He made all of us distinctive, in fact. Then why at all should we others dislike, Because differently from us they act? Man was made by God in his own image. This is so true, not simply an adage.
