Twas The Night Before New Year's Twas the night before New Year's And all across the lands, A Miracle happened: Everyone was shaking hands. The fresh start about to commence. A new slate on which to write Voices are joined in song, Instead of as weapons to fight. Enemies and foes alike allow war and hostilities to cease. Conversations turn to joy and peace. Languages are many, and traditions abound. Friendships are forged, and seek a common ground. Harmony and tranquility replace anger and fear. Future serenity looms
and spreads throughout the new year. Line Count: 20 Lines
