WHAT IS LIFE?


What is life?
A fog that lasts a life time
Which we try to penetrate
With the help of search lights
But always fail.

What is life?
The fore-runner of death,
The harbinger of cure
From all the ills of life
That plague man on this earth.


What is life?
Veritably a curse
Which one has to endure
Throughout one’s existence
In the world full of strife.


What is life?
The life time of a chance
Given by the Lord
To carry out his Word,
His Sermon on the Mount.
