THE BEGINNING OF SOMETHING NEW Whoever said that old age is "golden" had to be slightly off-track with the verb! There's nothing about it that's precious 'cept my sign that says "Do Not Distrub". My hair has turned from gray to silver; wrinkles are pronounced more each day. I strain to hear the "romantic" new music that the much younger folks always play. It takes more gumption to get up and go! The spirit has finally weakened, I fear; It's time to start looking out at the world and to try something different this year! I'll start dusting away the cobwebs and start thinking about what lies ahead. There has to be more to life than this, time to get UP and get out of my bed! I'm ready to start moving, ready to roll, it's time to think on what I should do! Spring is not really that far away and it's the beginning of something NEW!
