*Sn*O*wFla*K*eS* i want to show you what love is like. if only you wouldn't disappear when i try to touch you. * a snowflake on my tongue, there one minute, gone the next. a letter in march a phone call that july; maybe an email in november. even channel five can't predict your comings and goings. * what is it about warmth that makes you vanish? you can be so cold, so distant. making me shiver despite a heavy winter coat. sometimes i wonder if you even care about me. maybe you're not capable of caring for anyone. can a flower bloom in december? some days i think so. others, i doubt it. * you are drifting all around me, sticking to strands of my hair, collecting at my feet- soon i am up to my waist in thoughts of you. school might as well be cancelled; it's impossible to shovel a path and the forecast predicts more with each passing day. * maybe you just don't know how to form the words, much like an infant cannot walk until someone shows him what walking is. so should i tell you i love you? my heated words might cause you to evaporate * i want to show you what love is like. if only you wouldn't disappear when i try to touch you. *
