A Prisoner of the Sky
If the moon could speak, this is what it would say....

To be a prisoner, a prisoner of the sky.
Is a terribly awful thing.

Chained to this endless existence
Doomed to be nothing more than a dull glow

Forever in the shadows of the sun,
Following the same path for all eternity.
Helpless. Powerless. Silent.
To see a young girl starving,
And not be able to feed her.
An old woman shivering in the cold,
And not be able to provide her warmth.
A boy beaten by his father,
And not be able to shield him from the blows.
I just watch.
I see all this evil, take it all in.
And there's nothing I can do.

My destiny has already been decided,
I revolve around the evil you call earth.

It's a terribly awful thing
To be a prisoner, a prisoner of the sky.
