I was once afraid. I would sing to myself in the shower, the car, the safety of my room. Never in front of others. Then you came along. I let my guard down. You smiled at me. It captured my heart. You spoke of God. I listened. You told jokes. I laughed. When I cried, you comforted me. Moments with you were worth more than gold. So when you asked me to sing with you, I didn’t think twice. our voices blending, an angel’s perfect harmony, we were one.
