Guardian Angel, Guardian Hawk

I am a guardian.
An avenger
A nightmare.

I am a hawk.

At night, I fly,
with wings black.

I was betrayed.
I was wronged.

I have no feelings.
I have no heart
I have no soul, none at all.

I will fly through your window,
while you are sleeping.

You will open your eyes,
and I will be standing over you,
gripping your chest with bloody talons;
Tearing into your skin.

You will scream,
but no one will hear you.

No one can save you from me.
No one will.

You try to move,
but your body is frozen.
I put a talon on your skin,
and slowly tear it open.

Down your arms and legs
Across your neck
Down your chest,
and through your heart.

And as you lay dead
In a pool of your own blood
I dip my beak
in the red stubstance.
I slowly lick it off.

I savor it.
I cherish it.
I love it.

It doesn't matter who you are.
I still hate you.

It doesn't matter where you live.
I'll still find you.
I'll still kill you.
Your blood will coat my talons
It will drench my wings.

I have no heart
I have no soul

You all betrayed me.
You all wronged me.

No matter who you are,
Innocent or guilty
You are still my prey
You are my mouse.

This, I swear
I will find you
I will hunt you down.




But maybe, if you have never hurt me
If you were always there for me,
When I was the same as you

Then I promise,
I won't hurt you

I'll still fly through your window,
But not to kill.

I'll land on your shoulder
And comfort you.

I'll never harm you.

If you were the only one who I could trust,
The only one who was there for me.
