A creature enters my living space,
One like me, but not as cute a face. This feline walks and begins to purr, Then sits on the floor and licks his fur. I pounce from a chair and grab his back, poor thing never saw my sneak attack. Now two tussling and tumbling kittens fight as fierce as a pair of mittens. We pull apart, strategy anew, he's by the table, I'm by a shoe. Hair upright preparing for a fight, shelter your eyes, we're a fearsome sight. Our eyes glance and we spy a new beast, a prey unaware, an easy feast. The German shepherd has not a clue, we pounce on him, a fierce force of two. A hundred times we tatter his tail, we swing and swat and suddenly bail. He turns around fast, but only sees, a blur of black like two little fleas. A stick with straw in the kitchen now, doomed to surrender and ever bow. A gang of two and we will subdue, our next sad victim... might well be you.
