THE FAT LAZY BOY
He was just a lazy boy, He was always shy of work. He could sleep for hours but Work was a sheer drudgery. He could eat effortlessly, For food he was too ready. As a result he grew up Heavy yet heavy each day. So there was expectedly A day before he was twelve; He looked just like a football, Full of fat everywhere. Doctors thought he was too late. He had to suffer the fate. • Written in 7-7-7-7 format Written without using i, m and n, as per the condition of the contest. • Honourable Mention award in the Minus- the- Vowel Poetry Contest "Invalid Item" • Initially written as entry no. 353995 in item 957358, SCIENCE, MEDICAL, LAW, HUMOR, CHILDREN, "SCIENCE, MEDICAL, LAW, HUMOR, CHILDREN" M C Gupta 16 June 2005
