ramblings of a teenage lover
the play of love

The opening act...
Flowers fall from trembling hand
Feet running, tredding sand
Ocean mist flies through the air
Angry wind whips through her hair
Tears fall from stone cold eyes
Heart breaks from loveless lies
Fists clench with growing madness
She stumbles and falls, overwhelmed with sadness
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hands grab for something more
He runs to her as she steps through the door
Lips search for hidden passion
Clothes ripped off in timely fashion
Skin on skin, hands in hair
Feelings, emotions that neither can bare
Sighs, moans, one final scream
They both fall asleep, free to dream
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The final act...
Happy faces, tearful smile
White wedding dress sweeps down the aisle
Fancy clothes and penguin suits
He's dressed in uniform from his hat to his boots
Vows are said, I-do's and rings
On to the ballroom where the wedding band sings
The bride and groom dance on the floor
She clings to him, for he is hers to adore
