There were moments in my life,
Slipping by unrealized. Sorrow, joy, contentment, strife. Regretful things I despise. I never stilled, did not hear, Angels whisper in my ear. There were times of wonderment. Children born and grown and gone. Marriages to sacrament. Cherished lovers now forlorn. I should have been listening, To the angels whispering. Now, as I look back I find, Whispers did not pass me by. I can hear them in my mind. Just as silent as a sigh, Melodious tiny bell. The whisper of an angel. Summer air so warm and clean. Taking Jo Dee as my bride. Blankets of snow so serene. Beauty autumn could not hide. Thinking back now I declare, I could hear the angels there.
