Mummy and Daddy sit by her bed
She watches their tears and knows what they said The doctors have told them their daughter will die And all they can do is sit there and cry They think they know what's going on They think everything is going wrong They're losing their angel, their sweet little girl To the terrible sickness that so rocked their world But the little girl knows that it's all okay She's not really going that far away She'll be in their hearts, she'll be in their souls But they don't know she's achieving her goals The pain of the sickness was too much to bear But she knew that Heaven was waiting for her The little girl reaches out as she hears the lament She knows she has been skyward sent
