I am trying so hard to get to know you all over.
Could you help me out, just a little?
Your empty eyes, your hollow smile,
Looking at me with false redolence,
I return these unsatisfying gestures with genuine enthusiasm
Yet I still sigh inside

We used to be so close;
I regret not maintaining our relationship.
I apologize for my own demerit.
Darling, is that not enough?
Do I no longer posess what you desire in a friend?

I am bamboozled.
Would you please explicate what I did
To deserve your censure?

Bashfulness and insecurity have overcome me,
Since you've been gone.
With love, I pray that someday you will truly
Let me back into your life.
